"I had my first experience with chiropractic while I was in college. As the
quarterback at Emporia State University, I was injured the week before an upcoming and pivotal conference game. I received all the normal and customary treatments of ice, physical therapy and medication. By Wednesday of that week, I was minimally better and
still unable to practice. Playing in the game looked unattainable. On Wednesday evening, I received a chiropractic treatment by a local chiropractor. The immediate feeling of energy and life to my back was amazing. Over the next 3 days my surrounding
muscles seemed to unravel and my mobility increased to the point that I was practicing by Thursday afternoon and played on Saturday. It was that experience that first sparked my interest in Chiropractic. I discovered a way in which I can work with people to
improve their health as well as help athletes return to their pivotal game just as I did. I feel that first visit to the chiropractor opened my eyes to my calling. And I intend to make the best of it by helping as many people as possible." |
